Geno has been the Director of Golf at Darkhorse Golf Club since December 2007. He has been a golf professional for over 20 years and is a class "A" member of the Professional Golfers Association of America. He is in charge of all golf operations at Darkhorse Golf Club including customer service, staff development, and marketing.

A native of Fremont, California, he attended San Jose State University where he earned a degree in Business Management. He currently resides in Roseville with his wife Lisa and their two children

Tracy Shanahan
Golf Course Superintendent

Tracy has been the Superintendent at DarkHorse since July of 2005. He began his career right here in Auburn at Auburn Valley Country Club. After 2 years at UC Irvine and 1 at U.S.C. he was fortunate enough to complete a two-year Superintendent Internship sponsored by the NCGA.Tracy served his internship and worked up the ladder to Assistant Superintendent at Almaden Golf and Country Club. He then spent over 9 years growing his golf course management skills at Saratoga Country Club. Please feel free to contact him for any questions, comments, or suggestions regarding the course.

Chef Jeff brings to the Club his own unique cooking style for fresh, authentic, simple faire. Chef Jeff has been involved in every wedding, special event, offsite catering function, tournament function, banquet, and wine dinner since the Club’s inception in October 2002. He enjoys his work immensely, and looks forward to serving the guests at DarkHorse for years to come.

Sheila Flores

Sheila Flores is the Business Administrator at DarkHorse Golf Club. Sheila's seventeen years of Payroll and HR background serves our championship golf course well. Her great respect for employees, vendors and our community enhances the DarkHorse experience. Sheila is responsible for numerous Accounting processes including keeping things running smoothly in our office. Her professionalism and dynamic personality complete our team.

Terry Love

Terry Love has been with DarkHorse Golf Club since we opened in late 2002. A graduate of the Professional Golfers Career College, Terry studied the business of golf with a specialty on teaching the game. Terry teaches all skill levels of men, women and juniors with an emphasis on making the game of golf fun. He teaches one on one and group lessons as well as clinics.
